Claire is a Psychologist registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
Since 1995 Claire has provided individual and group therapy to address a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues. She values ethical and evidence based approaches in order to provide psychological assessment and treatment services tailored to individual client needs.
Claire’s initial emphasis on assessment identifies and targets client needs in a focused manner at the outset in order to efficiently work toward modifying unhelpful thought and behavioural patterns, improve coping skills and reduce emotional distress. She endeavours to provide focused treatment in a caring and safe environment to help individuals better manage life’s challenges.
Claire’s primary approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy although Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis and Emotional Freedom Techniques may be used where indicated. A holistic approach to wellbeing is also taken in utilizing the powerful processes of mind, brain and body connections.
